Mediation and Conciliation
Our skilled practitioners are able to assist even in those areas
of great delicacy and diplomacy. These may be intractable differences
of opinion and judgement between staff members, line managers and
their teams, or more formally, a tribunal case that a staff member
has brought. We are fully cognisant of employment law as well as
issues of equal opportunities and diversity and continue to provide
a mediation and conciliation service that respects and gives due
consideration to all parties.
Equality and Diversity
We can assist your organisation in constructing and
reviewing your policies and practices with respect to promoting
equality and valuing diversity. We conduct equal opportunities and
race and disability equality audits to assist you in assessing how
robust and compliant your policies are and whether they are having
the organisational impact you require. We provide training on all
aspects of equality legislation, including European directives.
We conduct training needs analysis and tailor our training input
to meet the specific needs of your organisation.
Health Checks
This very useful and innovative template was developed
by Professor Gus John and staff to be used as a means of providing
any organisation with a clear picture of current implementation
of equality legislation and policy. The health check also allows
organisations to develop action plans that will provide development
plans for future implementation.
Thematic Reviews
Utilising the considerable skills of the Gus John
Partnership, thematic reviews are conducted through the medium of
a great deal of research as well as data input by qualified field
researchers into a computer template designed alongside the client
to ensure that it fully meets their needs. Following analysis of
the reviews, the client is presented with a detailed report outlining
the process and outcomes of the review as well as key recommendations.
Leadership Development
Having run a Masterclass in Leadership and Management
across the UK and internationally for the past three years, the
Gus John Partnership in consultation with you can plan and deliver
a leadership development and capacity building programme for managers
at all levels of your organisation.
Research
Our excellent skills have been utilised in many large
projects for organisations such as the Crown Prosecution Service,
the Police Information Technology Organisation, and Doncaster Metropolitan
Borough Council.
Coaching and Mentoring
We provide executive coaching and mentoring support
to staff at all levels of the organisation. Passing on our skills
and experience to your staff forms part of all that we do. However,
for specific mentoring and coaching needs, we are able to provide
consultants who will work with your staff on a one-to-one basis,
designing a personal development programme that will include training
